With Toy Story 4 in theaters and Olivia’s big party, I wanted to go ahead and share this cake with some cake details.
Sculpting idols is not my thing and I will be the first to admit it! So for this cake, Olivia’s mom just bought some toys to add to my super simple buttercream design. Olivia also can’t eat solid foods, so I wanted the cake to be buttercream so she could enjoy some frosting.
First, the Toy Story cake had 6-inch and 8-inch layers As always, cook in my favorite Magic Line pan Its flavor was white almond sour cream, or “wedding cake”. You will find the recipe here -> https:///white-almond-sour-cream-wedding-cake/.
Vanilla buttercream is the frosting I use to fill and frost the cake It was mixed with a bit of electric green gel paint with American Color Electric Blue for the bottom layer and American Leaf Green for the top layer.

For the bottom layer, I create clouds using this cloud cutter and homemade marshmallow fondant. The rope edge of the cake was made with this silicone mold
For the top tier, I used homemade colorful marshmallow fondant to create the Toy Story logo. I printed it out and cut out the pieces with a scalpel, then glued them together. It was a tedious but successful process

I searched online for a while to see if I could buy ready-made Pizza Planet pizza boxes Your cans are pretty expensive, especially if you need them like I do! So I started looking for how to make my own
I bought a pack of 100 pizza boxes on eBay for about $20 They were perfect when they arrived! We need to fold them together

I needed them to be white on the outside so the Pizza Planet logo would stand out on the front and sides The interior color doesn’t really matter because they would have been off anyway In this case, the boxes contained plain cardboard
Instead of printing on plain paper, cutting and then sticking with glue, I chose the simpler option and printed directly onto some A4 labels.
After that it was really simple to cut the printed label using the guillotine This means I can do 4 or 5 pieces at a time Then we glued the labels to the white pizza box
Finally, we cut some squares of wax paper and put them inside the box This means we can fit some hot food out of the box without any grease or bits of food

Initially I was going to buy one small pizza for each child Finally, we decided that it would be a logical nightmare to cook and keep them all warm (we had over 30 kids in attendance!) so we decided to buy some extra large pizzas and then cut them up.
This worked really well because it meant that any little kids who were hungry could have an extra slice if they wanted.
Each box contained a slice of pizza and some chicken nuggets along with fruit, sandwiches and chips available at the table.
