Best of all, it’s a great vegetable to whip up when you need something last minute. Asparagus can be cooked and served in less than 10 minutes – faster and easier than mixing a whole salad!

The most important thing to know is that asparagus has a hard bottom that needs to be removed before serving. You can cut them off from the bottom 2 inches of the stem or just pull them out like in the picture above.

Cooking asparagus in the oven is very easy and takes very little time! To cook asparagus in the oven, we use high heat, 425°F or a burner, and it only takes 3-5 minutes.

There are several ways to prepare asparagus in the kitchen: roasting or peeling! Both are good, but I would skip it because it has extra flavor.
