How To Tell When Girlfriend Is Cheating
So now finally on to what this post is really about: identifying cheating behavior. Ok, so I know I’m no expert, but looking back on my (now over) 7 year relationship, there were huge red flags that my ex was cheating on me. I’m just sharing what I noticed and so stupidly ignored.
Signs Your Girlfriend Just Slept With Someone Else
Honestly, I refused to believe he was capable of screwing anyone else (YUCK) and Itruly best believed in him. To say I was in love with him was an understatement and my love and trust in him completely blinded me. But anywayyyyy, these are some things I would have called him on to save myself a few years of humiliation and grief.
Trust me, I know you always want to believe the best of someone, but sometimes—if not always—actions speak louder than words.
If someone is always texting you and talking to you and suddenly stops – it’s not a coincidence. Something is wrong. Chances are if you ask a simple question like “how was your day”, you will get a half-baked answer compared to past times where he/she would give detailed information. Usually this withdrawal comes from the fact that they fill the void by talking to someone else. When you text, they’ve already told someone in detail, every single thing they did that day, so now they don’t want to repeat themselves to you.
Depending on how the other relationship is going, cheaters usually show strong mood swings. They can trust you or be kind and caring. Unless someone becomes bipolar overnight (highly unlikely of course), there is probably something going on. They may blame work or family, but if the reasons DO NOT add up, then you should be aware of other signs of cheating. I got a lot of useless excuses from my ex and they changed regularly because he couldn’t decide which one to use, because of course the real reason was someone else – but he just couldn’t say that, right?
I Caught My Girlfriend Cheating On Me
This is where your significant other can suddenly start giving you fancy things. If this wasn’t something that happened all the time in your relationship, you should probably pay attention. I would like to believe forever that boyfriends can be lovers forever, but sudden extreme affection – not only physical, but also emotional / attention – can be the result of one thing and one thing only: guilt.
My ex once told me his phone was on airplane mode for date night and stupid me was like, “awww that’s so cute you don’t want anyone to disturb us”. Can someone point out the infernal cricket-squealing sound. Let’s be real, no normal person with nothing to hide is just going to have their phone on airplane mode around their partner. Of course it is
I was never one to dig up dirt. I never checked his Facebook account, wanted to go through his phone – literally nothing. So when I wanted his laptop password while innocently wanting to watch a YouTube video, he started acting malicious and entered it himself. Basically make it clear that he wasn’t going to give me his password. The same goes for his phone. I know that some girlfriends would have gone crazy, but if I just don’t have it in me to act like that, so I let it slide. If you really have nothing to hide, giving your significant other (S.O.) your passwords shouldn’t be a big deal.
My ex tripped one day when my sister sent me a picture of him at a club with a girl with her arms around him. When I brought it up, he got mad and deleted my best friends from Facebook and blocked them. Extreme ikr. There was always a tendency to become very aggressive when faced with 6157932759019 allegations of cheating. He would get so angry to the point that he was more upset than I was (Fact: something that led to me finally deciding to cut him out of my life). Ummmm when someone can’t be cool, calm and composed when answering simple questions you have to wonder where that attitude problem is coming from.
What To Do After You Find Out Your Partner Cheated
Did S.O. suddenly develop a new hobby without telling you? Drink and club more? Go out more than usual drive continuously without breaks? I would always let my ex go out. I never directed him or asked him where he was going. When he developed a new habit of practically living in a club, I would just be like “have fun,” “be safe.” However, clubbing was never my thing, so it never led to him wanting to be there and apparently (now I found out) getting obnoxiously drunk. Wants to put you through any kind of pain. Be aware when someone is trying really hard to push you over the edge.
When there are whispers of cheating and people come to tell you that their S.O. is cheating – notice. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Rumors are always fueled by something. Random view with someone else, photo/video, friend telling a friend.
Thing In my case, as a public figure, I always have to deal with haters (some people were disgustingly aggressive when they approached me), so I could never trust what people said. But if 3-4 different people tell you something, then you have to start paying. Do your research. Find out more. If I had done this in 2015, I wouldn’t have wasted 2 more years
