Different Ways To Start Locs

How To Start Locs With Two Strand Twists
The comb-coil method is the most common way to terminate logs. When using this method, depending on the texture and length of your hair, you will need to be careful not to get it wet for 2-4 weeks after installing the starter coils. When your hair begins to grow from the root, the strand itself begins the process of budding, during which the strands gradually become fluffier and unruly. During this process it will be difficult or almost impossible to style your hair or get it very neat – don’t worry – this is a natural part of the hair styling process. Once the hair is set, the buds begin to wrap around the strand/coil and as this curling process continues, your hair grows and eventually curls.
When using this method, it is important to know whether the locks/coils are activated when you turn them left or right. A professional locator knows that all reels/logs should first be rotated equally. This is important because if your locks are initially curled to the right and then someone else curls your new growth to the left, the patches won’t be neat and will most likely have lumps and lumps – not pretty! So make sure you either hire the same locksmith or know how your locks are screwed so that they can be screwed the same way consistently throughout the locking process.

If you’re considering locations, you may know that there are many selection methods, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

Backcombing is a type of quick fix that is typically used on Caucasian hair or hair with few or no curls. To achieve this hairstyle, you need to comb your hair back with a metal comb.
Locs: Styles, Stages, And Maintenance
This method of launching locks is commonly used to launch sister locks and micro-logs (very small logs). Locking is very difficult to do and requires precision. This style is made using a crochet hook that allows the hair to be pulled through itself to form a knot.
One tip I want to share is that the blocks need to be done in the following order: north-south, then east-west and repeat. If you skip a step, you may end up with cracks. For example, the direction north-south and never east-west will result in individual columns rather than a cylindrical place (try to imagine that).
This method is a simple natural hairstyle that is easy to achieve. After styling, fairly long braids are formed into strands. This method is easy to use and can be started at home without any hassle.

Finger curling or combing is one of the most commonly used methods of triggering Locs. This is achieved by twisting the hair in a spiral motion. This method is ideal for people with tight curls.
For people with an active lifestyle, curls may come off depending on the hair structure, but they can be easily twisted back into place. Two-strand curls are a common hairstyle that many naturals use as a protective hairstyle. If these strands are left for too long, they will become tangled.
This style is one of the easiest ways to get started, so it can be done at home without any hassle.
Amazing Starter Locs Styles For The Beginners In 2022
Instant Locs are a modern way to run locs. To create this style, stylists usually start with a crochet hook used to tie the hair, insert the hook inside, and use a push-pull method to form the knot.
