Story baskets are a wonderful way to draw young readers into the story or idea you are reading. I have been making story baskets since I was little. Not only do they add great learning opportunities, but they also have deep skills.

I have found over the years that making a good story basket for young children is to keep it simple. My son is nine, so it took me a while, but I always try to use what I have around the house.

So the first thing you need is to set up a basket or story basket. I only have one and I got it from Hobbycraft a few years ago. You don’t need to buy anything special. You can use plastic storage, a basket, a basket, a tile or even a cardboard box.

There are no set rules though, it’s all about letting your child explore different objects with different shapes, colors and textures. I like to use lego bricks, wooden blocks and glue blocks to build different things. You can find more Christmas book inspiration here.

For this Christmas story basket, I used two Christmas books, 4 Christmas toys, 2 scarves, red Duplo blocks, jingle bells, glue blocks, wooden blocks, pom poms and Key Lanka stickers.

Ways To Decorate A Small Space For The Holidays

For this elf story basket I used two elf books, an Elf soft toy, green duplo blocks, green wooden blocks, jingle bells, colorful scarves, green room bricks and Lanka Kade shapes.

For this Santa story basket, I used two Santa books, two soft toys, a red Duplo brick, a red wooden brick, a red stick brick, a jingle bell, Santa bath gloves, a scarf colorful, and the shape of Santa Lanka Kade.

For this story basket, I used two deer books, two soft toys, bath gloves, red Duplo blocks, jingle bells, red wood blocks, red wood, red pom poms, two colored scarves and a deer. Lanka Kade figurine.

There is no right or wrong way to explore storyboards for children. For younger children, let them look at the basket while you read the book. Older children like to learn on their own. This Christmas is a great activity to introduce to young children. I have put together six ways to do that. Some I have used myself, and others I can say from what I know as a storyteller, I can see how they work. I hope one or two of them inspire you!

In both Gospels, someone who is not part of the events tells the story of Christmas. Inspired, of course, but we all know this version.

What if you told the story from a different perspective? From someone else’s point of view in the story?

If you decide to tell the story in a different way, take the time to review the story and get a feel for it. Let those feelings be. Let there be jokes. Come as you wish, tell your friends or roommates as many times as possible beforehand.

Do not tell this story to adults as you would to children. Joseph and Mary had no children; they were great thinkers. So try to imagine the events from the point of view you have chosen.
